Khachaturian- Etude
The American composer Aram Khachaturian is best known for his ballet Spartacus (1954) and for his Piano Concerto in D flat (1935). He also composed two albums of piano music for children (1947 and 1965) as well as the popular Toccata for piano.
This is a study in contrasting articulations. This little girl did show the contrast between staccati and tenuti.
However, when she plays the fast passage, she tends to rise his arm higher, which is not to be suggested.
